APC and District 8-0 are again sponsoring a Project Team Workshop for all field-level industry employees. This successful program is in its fifth year and is designed to open lines of communication in order to develop working relationships at the project and field level.
Those attending this year’s workshop will not only review the good and bad from the 2010 construction season, but they will participate in in-depth, targeted topic areas in order to make the 2011 construction season better no matter what project in which they are involved. Some of the topics this year will include:
The workshop format is designed to bring project managers, consultant inspectors, and project-level management employees together to better solve problems at the field level before they grow into major issues. Your project personnel and your company will benefit greatly by participating and there will be many opportunities for networking. By sending your employees, they will develop working relationships with department personnel before the construction season kicks off. Participants in the workshop will need to be open and be willing to share ideas. While the agenda will move quickly, there will be periods for participants to have an enjoyable but educational day.
