ARRA Employment Reporting Requirement Changes
Effective Immediately
During yesterday’s APC/PennDOT Liaison Meeting, Secretary Biehler and Deputy Secretary Scott Christie informed APC that the Federal Office of Management and Budget is requiring states to submit their ARRA (Stimulus) job reporting information by the 10th of each month. So, there are new timeline for reporting that are outlined below.
Please note that the Department appreciates all the contractors’ efforts in obtaining this information earlier in the month. It will certainly help continuing to demonstrate that the Transportation Industry are fully capable of meeting the needs of our customers and that we are clearly putting people back to work. In other words, a great investment.
- ·Effective immediately, the ARRA Standard Special Provision, a00114, REQUIRED REPORTING FOR THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT, is revised as follows:
Submit the form entitled, “Monthly Employment Report American Recovery and Reinvestment Act” to the Inspector-In-Charge
within 5 calendar days of the end of the reporting month. If this form is not submitted to the Inspector-In-Charge
within 5 calendar days of the end of the reporting month any further estimate payments will be withheld until it is received by the Inspector-In-Charge. An electronic version can be found on ECMS's File Cabinet by selecting ECMS References, and then selecting File Cabinet. The file is in the CTR - Contractor folder and is named
ARRA MONTHLY EMPLOYMENT REPORT. Additional instructions for submission of the form will be provided at the pre-construction conference.
- Note that the ARRA employment reporting is due within 5 calendar days of the end of the reporting month. Previously, the employment reporting was due within 10 calendar days of the end of the reporting month.
PennDOT appreciates your cooperation in providing the employment information within 5 calendar days, further ensuring the success of our ARRA program.
