In Memoriam

It is with great sadness to inform you that W. Guy Gunn passed away on January 30, 2010. He was 96.

The father of APC Board Member, Greg Gunn, Guy was, himself, a past APC Board Member, ARTBA President-Contractors Division and APC Executive Vice President. Guy was affectionately known as the “Father of PHIA--Pennsylvania Highway Information Association.” Chartered in May, 1960, PHIA’s initial mission was to promote and educate the public about the value of interstate highways before they existed.

A private service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boysville, 8555 East Loop 1604 North, Converse, Texas 78109. Notes of personal condolence may be sent to Emily at The Carlyle, 7887 Broadway, Suite 102, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
