Passing of Charles Thomas Rocuskie
Charles Thomas Rocuskie, 69, of York Haven, died Sunday, January 8, 2012, at York Hospital. He was the General Superintendent for Deblin, Inc., a bridge construction company located in Mechanicsburg.
Born September 28, 1942, in Shamokin, PA, he married the love of his life, Alice Stankiewicz on October 12, 1963, and they were happily married for 48 years. They moved to York Haven in 1966.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Alice Stankiewicz Rocuskie; four sons, Kenneth and his wife Sherry of York Haven, Charles, Jr. and his wife Sue of New Cumberland, Scott and his wife Tina of Mechanicsburg, and William of Mechanicsburg; a daughter Renae and her husband David Stauffer of Chambersburg; two brothers, Ben Rocuskie of Grantville and Dr. Albert Rocuskie of Hometown; a sister Alice Tetkoskie of York Haven; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Rocuskie. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, and from 10 until funeral services at 11 a.m., Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. The Rev. Michael McFadden will officiate. Burial will be at Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry, PA.
