Liaison Services
APC Committees
Serve with other APC members in areas that interest you. Bridges,
Highway Funding, DBE-EEO, Environmental, Specifications and the
Meetings and Education Committee are among your choices.
Legislative
APC is your voice, your lobbyist in the State Capitol, working to
maintain a sufficient level of funding for the highway contracting
program. Periodic bulletins keep members informed.
Liaison with State Agencies
Helps you solve problems and cut red tape with PENNDOT, General
Services, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Environmental Resources
or any state and federal agency. Special liaison meetings are held
with PENNDOT annually in all districts with top Department
management.
APC also meets with Turnpike officials on an annual basis. APC
member input is solicited on proposed PENNDOT specifications.
Labor
APC regional affiliates, the Constructors Association of Western
Pennsylvania (CAWP) and the Contractors Association of Eastern
Pennsylvania (CAEP), provide labor negotiation and information
services.
National Representation
Contractors' dues include membership in the American
Road and Transportation Builders Association - your voice with the
federal government.
