Kim Maiolo has been hired as Director of Communications and Outreach with Associated Pennsylvania Constructors. In her roll, she will manage the statewide trade association’s communications and marketing strategy. She starts April 22, 2019 with the association.
Kim will be focused on enhancing APC’s outreach to members and enhancing the association’s value proposition to members. Additionally, she will work with the Keystone Transportation Funding Coalition, as the organization begins to step up messaging and engagement regarding funding needs for interstates and public transit in Pennsylvania.
Maiolo most recently worked for Milton Hershey School as the Director of Marketing Communications where she oversaw internal and external communications as well as community relations and strategic partnerships.
She previously served as a communications and marketing director for the American Red Cross where she was the primary spokesperson regionally, as well as, on national disaster operations.
Prior to her service at the Red Cross, Maiolo was a public relations manager at Quantum Communications, where she planned and executed campaigns for clients in a wide array of industries including the transportation sector. Notably, she was instrumental in garnering coalition support within the business community for Act 89, the comprehensive transportation funding legislation passed in 2013.
