PennDOT has advertised the next Digital Delivery Pilot Project (ECMS 91536 Fulton Co. I-70WB Amaranth to Bedford). This pilot project incorporates the use of the Single project pdf. It’s the first step in moving from multiple 2D paper plan sheets to a larger sheet size that is meant to be viewed on an electronic device. This file also contains levels/layers that can be toggled on and off to provide the contractors with specific information of their choosing.
The Digital Delivery team has developed a short video explaining the concept and how to access and utilize the plans. The video can be found on the Digital Delivery web page. In addition, an announcement has been placed on the ECMS splash screen.
