We are sorry to inform you of the April 9 passing of John McCormick of Joseph McCormick Construction Company in Erie.
He was a Lifetime Director Emeritus of the Association of Pennsylvania Constructors (APC), previously serving as a member of the APC executive committee and District Vice President for District 1-0. He was also a Board Member of the Pennsylvania Asphalt Pavement Association (PAPA). John served on the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission and was a longtime Board Member of the Dr. Gertrude Barber Center. His son Owen McCormick is a member of the APC Board and APC’s current District 1 Vice President.
Friends may call at the Quinn Funeral Home, 728 W. 9th St., on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 2:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM and are invited to attend Prayer Services there Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter Cathedral, 230 W. 10th St. with his brother as celebrant.
