Restore PA’s Highway Funds

This year alone, $673 million was diverted from PA’s Motor License Fund (MLF) to fund PA State Police operations, or the equivalent of 11 cents per gallon of the state’s gas tax. Each year, hundreds of millions of dollars intended to fund PA’s roads and bridges are diverted for other uses.

We are asking lawmakers to drop the amount diverted from the highway fund down to $200 million so that we can begin fixing substandard bridges on PennDOT’s roadway network and other major projects without raising taxes or implementing tolls.

Tell your legislator it’s time to restore PA’s highway fund!
